Thursday, the Oakland Raider file paperwork to move the team to Las Vegas. Owner Mark Davis has been in constant tango over where the Raider will call home.

Struggles in Oakland to build a stadium hasn’t been unique to the black and silver. The city just saw the NBA Golden State Warriors move across the bay to the Silicon Valley side. The MLB Athletes has signed a extension for the Oakland Coliseum with plans to tear it down, but have flirted with the idea of moving.

The announcement of the filing came via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network from Clark County Commission Chair Steve Sisolak, confirming the league received the papers, noting that vote on the move could be as soon as March.

Davis will need to rally at least 24 votes from owners to get the nod to move his team to Sin City. It was reported in January the Oakland has no game plan in place to retain the franchise.
