Fox Sports has found there partner to cover the Women’s World Cup in Canada. Rob Stone will be the prime-time studio host for the coverage that starts in June.

The Associated Press write, “Stone will anchor coverage of the six-city, monthlong tournament from the Fox studio in Vancouver, British Columbia,” this was all announced by the network Wednesday.

This is not the first Stone has hosted coverage for Fox Sports, they hosted the coverage of several world football leagues in Europe, including the Premier League. Stone has also taken the reins for Fox Sports’ broadcasts of college football and basketball programming.

The Associated Press also reported:

Fox Sports plans unprecedented coverage of the Women’s World Cup, which opens June 6 and ends in Vancouver with the final match July 5. Sixteen matches will air live on the Fox network, with the rest on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2.

This partnership did not come as much of a surprise given their ongoing relationship.
